CARISCA’s key objective is to support higher education institutions in building the capacity necessary to provide best-in-class degree programs and training, facilitate research translation and utilization, and engage stakeholders in best practices and policy changes that strengthen supply chains.
In 2021, CARISCA hosted over 300 individuals from 40 countries at its inaugural Supply Chain Research Summit, A Supply Chain Vision for Africa, and we’re looking forward to expanding our footprint in 2022!
The Second Annual Supply Chain Research Summit is scheduled for June 28-30, 2022. The summit will be a hybrid event featuring in-person and virtual presentations on the theme; How Africa Matters to the Global Supply Chain”. In-person sessions will be held in Ghana at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi; virtual sessions will be held via Zoom.
