Attendance at the Summit is fully supported by the CARISCA Project. However, CARISCA Project does not fund lodging and transportation for in-person attendees.

While Uber and Bolt are popular options for booking direct trips to travelers’ destinations-of-choice, Kumasi also offers a variety of affordable public transportation options, providing access to all the city’s major neighborhoods and the surrounding areas.

Our primary summit venue and recommended lodging options for the CARISCA ANNUAL SUMMIT are located in the heart of Kumasi. This location provides direct access to the city’s most budget-friendly public transportation servics, "taxis" and "trotros", two travel options that make regular loops around city’s most popular sights. Participants may use ride-sharing apps such as Uber and Bolt for movements within the city
