Pasty Asamoah is an MPhil. student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) specializing in Information Systems at the KNUST School of Business with a research interest in analytics, big data and supply chain technologies and automation in healthcare delivery. Asamoah is currently working on his MPhil Project in the area of Computational Algorithms for Health Data Extraction, Analysis and Visualizations. He is currently learning and preparing himself for his career in research and data science practices in the healthcare industry.
Asamoah is the founder of walls microsystems, a technological firm that develop and manages information systems, database infrastructures, business data analysis, data warehouse, etc. using modern and advanced technologies including artificial intelligence for businesses. The firm also provides technological education to prepare the youth for future technological opportunities and algorithmic problem solving.
Asamoah is also a co-founder and the project director of code-s foundation, a non-profit making organization that is passionate about spreading knowledge of computer programming and computing technologies in Ghana especially in secluded locations. He has led the team since 2018 and has successfully completed two major free computer programming sessions and currently working on the third session.
His research interest is driven by his passion to improve healthcare delivery and operations through health management information systems, and data informed decision making.
Asamoah has participated in many local workshops and seminars on analytics, health supply chain management and hackathons including the fourth industrial revolution hackathon conducted by hacklab in 2018.
