Attend in person at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra, Ghana, or virtually via Zoom
CARISCA’s Supply Chain Action Network (SCAN) engages supply chain stakeholders in Ghana and across Africa to discuss current topics, trends, opportunities and challenges for managing African supply chains. The goal is to create a strong network of policymaking, private sector and civil society organizations to strengthen supply chain research, education and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Join us Nov. 29 for the next SCAN meeting to discuss two perspectives on supply chain financing. Presenting the traditional banking perspective will be Raymond Denteh, team leader for Agribusiness and Financial Services for USAID Feed the Future Market Systems and Resilience in Ghana. Presenting the fintech perspective will be Kwesi Korboe, chief executive officer of Ghana Incentive-based Risk-sharing System for Agricultural Lending (GIRSAL).
Following the presentations and a lunch break, participants will discuss supply chain financing in breakout groups and then convene for a panel discussion.
