Katie Neuman Parrish is the Project Manager for W.P. Carey’s Center for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain Africa. In this role, Katie focuses on partner management and activity promotion and reporting for CARISCA. Katie brings experience in major gift philanthropy and partner engagement for non-profit organizations, including the fields of higher education, health care and community development. She has held positions at Arizona State University and Mayo Clinic Arizona, and has been part of several community and entrepreneurial start-ups, including co-founding Monument Coffee Co. on the Navajo Nation.
Katie is committed to bringing resources and people together to affect positive change in our communities. Her experience includes years of cross-cultural and interfaith dialogues with the goal of creating bridges between neighbours.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in family and human development from Arizona State University. Her previous research experience includes studying the impact of parents’ behaviour on children’s motivational beliefs.
When not in the office, Katie can be found tending to her garden, reading or embarking on new creative or outdoor adventures.
