Dr. Matilda Kokui Owusu-Bio is a lecturer in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems. Her research focus is in supply chain management, humanitarian logistics, and the gender dynamics within these business management fields.
She has been an advocate for gender issues in varied projects such as the World Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence Project (ACE) at KNUST’s Regional Transport Research and Education Centre (TRECK). She also part of a team that successfully accessed the O.R. Tambo Africa Research Chairs Initiative (ORTARChI) grant for Initiative in Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Youth Employability at KNUST where her focus is on improving gender disparity in entrepreneurial education focusing on secondary education and HEI’s.
Beyond the gender advocacy in SCM, she is also involved in developing and using eLearning programmes to educate children and teenagers on disaster preparedness in Ghana.
