The topic for this Lecture “Best Practices for Publishing: Lessons Learned and the IJOPM Perspective” will be delivered by Prof Tobias Schoenherr, Hoagland-Metzler Endowed Professor in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Meet the Speaker
Tobias Schoenherr is the Hoagland-Metzler Endowed Professor in Purchasing and Supply Management at the Broad College of Business, Michigan State University. Recently ranked to be among the Top 10 thought leaders worldwide in supply chain management research, he is an award-winning scholar and teacher focusing on the area of sourcing, with a particular interest in buyer-supplier relationships.
Having obtained his Ph.D. from Indiana University in Operations Management and Decision Sciences, he has been teaching at numerous universities, both domestically and internationally. He has published more than 75 peer-reviewed articles that appeared in outlets such as Management Science, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Marketing Research, Decision Sciences, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and Journal of Business Logistics.
He is serving as the Co-Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, and the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
